Full job descriptionRandstad Education is urgently hiring dedicated Secondary Teaching Assistants (TAs) to support pupils across our trusted partner secondary schools and academies throughout all Liverpool postcodes (L1-L38).
Whether you are seeking full-time classroom continuity, targeted 1:1 SEND support, or flexible local day-to-day work, we have immediate placements ready for you today.
Key Duties:
*Support individual students and small groups during Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 lessons.
*Help students understand class tasks and stay focused on their learning.
*Maintain a positive, productive environment using calm behaviour strategies.
*Assist the class teacher with setting up learning activities and resources.
*Provide quick, clear feedback to the teacher on student progress at the end of the lesson.
Requirements:
*Recent experience supporting young people in secondary schools, youth work, or care settings.
*Strong communication skills and a patient, resilient approach.
*Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or readiness to apply for one with us).
