Full job descriptionThe Role:
*Supporting pupils with a range of SEND and complex needs
*Providing 1:1 and small-group support
*Supporting communication, emotional regulation and social development
*Implementing individualised learning and support plans
*Using positive behaviour strategies and de-escalation techniques
*Supporting pupils to engage with learning and develop independence
*Working closely with teachers and other professionals to provide consistent support
*Creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEND
*Experience supporting Autism, ADHD, SEMH, challenging behaviour or complex needs is desirable
*Calm, patient and resilient approach
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*Confident managing challenging situations
*Passionate about supporting children with additional needs
*Able to build positive and trusting relationships with pupils
*Team player with a proactive and adaptable approach
