Full job descriptionAn established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Employment Solicitor (5–6 years’ PQE) to join its growing Employment team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded lawyer looking to work on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters for a diverse client base, including both businesses and private individuals.

Key Responsibilities
*Advising employers on a wide range of employment law matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures, performance management, redundancies, TUPE and organisational restructures
*Managing Employment Tribunal claims from initial instruction through to resolution
*Drafting and negotiating employment contracts, policies, settlement agreements and related documentation
*Supporting corporate transactions through employment law advice and due diligence
*Providing commercially focused, strategic advice tailored to clients’ objectives
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Contributing to business development activities, including networking, client training and seminars
About You
You will be a qualified Solicitor in England & Wales with approximately 5–6 years’ post-qualification experience in employment law and will possess:
*Strong technical expertise across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
*Experience managing a varied caseload with minimal supervision
*Excellent drafting, analytical and problem-solving skills
*Strong client care and relationship management abilities
*A proactive and commercially aware approach
*The ability to prioritise effectively and work to deadlines
*Excellent organisation and time-management skills
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills
*A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
