Full job descriptionRG Consultancy are looking to recruit a knowledgeable Finance Manger to join a successful manufacturing company based in Ellesmere port. Reporting directly to the FD, this is a brilliant opportunity for an ACCA/ CIMA part/ qualified candidate to join an established company and grow their career.
Skills :
*Oversee the full day to day finance function
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting.
*Managing budgets, forecasts and cash flow.
*Overseeing purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control.
*Bank reconciliations and balance sheet reconciliations.
*Managing month-end and year-end processes.
*Preparation of VAT returns and other statutory requirements.
*Monitoring financial performance and providing meaningful analysis to senior management.
*Identifying opportunities to improve financial processes and controls.
*Supporting and developing members of the finance team.
*Working closely with directors and senior management on financial and commercial matters.
*Managing an existing team of 6 within finance
The ideal candidate
*At least 2 years’ experience within a similar senior finance position
*CIMA, ACCA qualified/ part - qualified is preferred
*Commercially aware with a strong analytical mindset
