Hours: 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday office based

Salary: £35,000
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and reliable accountant to join our professional services business in Chesterfield on a temporary basis for an initial six-month project.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on finance professional who can quickly get up to speed, work independently, and provide accurate and efficient bookkeeping support throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities*
Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial transactions
*
Processing sales and purchase invoices
*
Bank reconciliations and maintaining accurate financial records
*
Maintaining the purchase and sales ledgerss
*
Resolving queries and discrepancies
*
Providing general finance and administrative support as required
*
Helping to ensure financial records are accurate, complete and up to date
About You
We are looking for someone who is:
*You will have a strong track record in accountaning in your career to date
*
Confident working independently and managing their own workload
*
Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
*
Comfortable working with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
*
Reliable, professional and able to work to deadlines
*
Experienced within a professional services environment would be advantageous
*
Immediately available or available to start at short notice would be beneficial
