Our client is a growing organisation in Derby and looking to add a Finance Manager into this newly created opportunity.
This is a fantastic position reporting to the Head of Finance which will be a varied role including Management Accounting and Business Partnering.
This is a 5 days on site position in Derby.
Description
*Oversee and manage the company’s financial operations, including budgeting and forecasting.
*Prepare accurate financial reports and statements for internal and external stakeholders.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Monitor and analyse financial performance to support decision-making.
*Manage cash flow and oversee financial planning activities.
*Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with financial goals.
*Supervise and support the accounting team in daily operations.
*Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
Profile
A successful Finance Manager should have:
*Proven expertise in financial management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
*Qualified by Experience or Qualified (CIMA, ACCA or ACA).
*Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
*Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
*Proficiency in financial software and systems.
*Ability to ensure compliance with financial regulations.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Strong leadership and team management abilities.
