About the Role

We are seeking a Fleet Base Shunter / Fleet HGV Driver to join our client’s fleet operation in Chalgrove. This varied role combines yard shunting duties with vehicle movements and fleet support activities, making it ideal for a qualified HGV driver looking for a diverse and rewarding position.
You will play a key role in ensuring vehicles are moved safely, maintained operationally, and available to meet business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
*Move HGVs and fleet vehicles safely around the site and local operational areas.
*Position vehicles for servicing, maintenance, inspections, and operational use.
*Complete vehicle checks and report defects.
*Support fleet management activities and vehicle availability.
*Ensure compliance with transport legislation and health & safety requirements.
*Maintain accurate records and vehicle documentation where required.
About You
*Valid Category C or C+E HGV licence.
*Driver CPC qualification.
*Digital Tachograph Card.
*Excellent vehicle handling and safety awareness.
*Previous experience within transport, fleet, logistics, or shunting environments.
*Flexible and professional attitude.
