Location: Preston
A well-established and highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancer to join its busy and supportive Residential Property team.
Applications are welcomed from qualified Solicitors, CILEX professionals and experienced non-qualified Conveyancers who are confident managing their own residential conveyancing caseload.
Key Responsibilities
*Managing a varied residential conveyancing caseload from initial instruction through to completion
*Handling matters including sales, purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions, new-build properties, shared equity, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
*Managing caseload profitability and working towards agreed KPIs and fee targets
*Supporting senior colleagues with more complex transactions and matters
About You
This opportunity would suit candidates considering Senior Paralegal, Solicitor or Associate-level positions.
You will ideally demonstrate:
*Qualified Solicitor, CILEX professional with relevant conveyancing practice rights, Licensed Conveyancer, or an experienced non-qualified Residential Conveyancer with at least five years’ relevant experience
*Strong experience handling residential sales and purchases, freehold and leasehold transactions, new-build properties, shared equity, re-mortgages and transfers of equity
*Good knowledge of Land Registry processes and Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT)
*Proven ability to manage an independent caseload and meet fee or billing targets
Desirable
*Previous experience contributing to business development activities
*Experience supporting or mentoring junior members of a legal team
