Thiswillbeavariedrolewhereyouwillworkcloselywithcolleaguesacross various departments, suppliersandsubcontractors. Yourresponsibilitieswillinclude:
*Processingsupplierinvoicesandcreditnotes.
*Matchinginvoicestopurchaseordersandsupportingdocumentation.
*Checkingcoding,VATandcostallocations.
*Reconcilingsupplierstatementsandresolvingdiscrepancies.
*Dealingwithsupplierqueriesandmaintainingaccurateaccounts.
*Preparingpaymentrunsforapproval.
*Supporting with month end.
*MaintainingaccuraterecordsacrossfinancesystemsincludingSAGE50.
Profile
*Have recent experience of working in purchase ledger - essential
*Have worked in the construction industry and has dealt with CIS/VAT - desirable
*Has used Sage - desirable
*The right to work in the UK and live within a commutable distance to Castleford, as this is an office based role - essential
