£20 - £23 per hour + Overtime + Benefits Full-time / Permanent
Are you an experienced CNC Miller with programming, setting and operating experience looking to join a modern precision engineering business?
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-value components for sectors including scientific, medical, semiconductor and nuclear. You’ll be working within a well-invested machine shop featuring modern CNC machinery, CMM inspection equipment and a supportive management team.
The company is known for its high standards, organised working environment and ongoing investment in technology. This role would suit a CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator with strong Heidenhain or Fanuc experience and a background in 3+ axis machining.
The Role
* Programme, set and operate 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling machines using Heidenhain controls
* Manufacture large, precision-engineered components from technical drawings to strict quality standards
* Inspect and verify your own work, producing documentation and supporting continuous improvement activities
The Person
* Experienced CNC Milling Programmer/Setter/Operator with the ability to online programme at the machine
* Strong background in 3-axis milling as a minimum, with 5-axis machining experience highly desirable
* Proficient with Heidenhain controls, with Fanuc knowledge and experience machining large precision components advantageous
