Prospero Teaching is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher for a mainstream secondary school with a sixth form in Bushey, near Watford.
The school offers GCSE Business and A-level Business. We’re looking for a teacher who can bring the subject to life through practical examples, build pupils’ confidence and develop their understanding of business decisions.
Your responsibilities:
*Plan and deliver engaging Business Studies lessons.

*Make topics such as enterprise, marketing and finance accessible and relevant.

*Assess learning, mark work and provide clear feedback.

*Develop pupils’ analytical skills and exam technique.

*Adapt teaching for different abilities, including pupils with SEND.

*Maintain consistent classroom expectations and work closely with department colleagues.

We’re looking for:
*QTS or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

*Strong Business Studies subject knowledge.

*Knowledge of the GCSE Business curriculum; A-level teaching experience would be an advantage.

*Effective classroom management and a clear, engaging teaching style.

*Availability to start ASAP.
