The role of the General Manager - Manufactured Joinery will involve:
*General Manager position responsible for managing the internal team, day-to-day manufacturing activities and driving sales across the a bespoke joinery product range
*Oversee daily operations to ensure timely, high-quality delivery
*Lead, support, and motivate production managers, team leaders and site staff, ensuring strong team performance
*Plan and coordinate labour, materials, and equipment while monitoring budgets and performance
*Act as a main client contact, handling queries and resolving issues professionally
*Maintain systems, health & safety standards, and continuously improve processes and ways of working
*May be a requirement to visit site when needed
The ideal applicant will be General Manager - Manufactured Joinery with:
*Must have Management experience across the building supplies industry
*Ideal experience within merchant, trade, timber, joinery or furniture environments
*Highly advantageous to have experience & understanding of manufacturing processes
*Open to a senior candidate looking to take the next step into a management position
*Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
*Self-motivated, driven, hungry and ambitious
*Computer literate
