Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe’re recruiting for an experienced Quality Control Engineer to join a major engineering and manufacturing business in Sheffield.
Working within a heavy engineering environment, you’ll work closely with production teams to maintain quality standards, investigate issues and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities*Monitor production processes against quality procedures and the QMS
*Identify and investigate non-conformances and quality issues
*Support root cause analysis, failure investigation and corrective actions
*Contribute to PFMEA, Lessons Learnt and Continuous Improvement
*Monitor steelmaking/forging processes against technical requirements
*Support customer audits and quality investigations
*Maintain accurate quality records and registers
About You*Previous experience in Quality Control, Quality Engineering or a similar manufacturing role
*Experience working within a production environment
*Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
*Good understanding of QMS and quality processes
*Confident with report writing and MS Office
*Heavy engineering, steelmaking or forging experience is highly desirable
*Flexible to work rotating day and night shifts
