Reporting into the senior finance leadership team, you will lead the accounts payable function, ensuring efficient processes delivering and a high-quality service to both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll play a key role in driving continuous improvement, enhancing financial systems, and supporting the organisation’s wider financial objectives.

Description
*Manage the accounts payable function, ensuring compliance with policies and procedures
*Oversee the cash and banking function including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
*Oversee the accurate and timely processing of invoices and payments and authorisations are made on time with strict deadlines
*Build and maintain relationships with vendors and resolve any payment discrepancies
*Monitor and improve accounts payable processes and systems
*Train and develop the accounts payable team ensuring KPIS and met and fostering a collaborative work environment
*Ensure accurate reporting and reconciliation of accounts payable data
*Collaborate with other departments to enhance financial efficiency.
*Support audits and ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Manager should have:
*A strong background in accounting or finance, particularly in accounts payable management
*Cash management or treasury experience
*Experience Managing a tea mod transactional finance staff
*Experience in shared services or not for profit is advantageous
*Proficiency with accounting software and financial systems.
*Excellent organisational and leadership skills to manage a team effectively.
*Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
