Private Client Opportunity in Newton Abbot
A respected regional law firm is expanding its Private Client team and is seeking an experienced Private Client Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive or Fee Earner to join its Newton Abbot office.
This position would suit a Private Client Lawyer with 5+ years of experience who is looking for a varied caseload, flexible working arrangements and the opportunity to develop their career within an established Devon legal practice.
The Position
You will take responsibility for your own Private Client caseload, advising clients across a broad range of wills, probate, trusts and estate planning matters.
Your work will include:
*Drafting Wills and Codicils
*Probate and estate administration
*Trust creation and administration
*Inheritance Tax planning
*Estate and lifetime tax planning
*Lasting Powers of Attorney
*Court of Protection applications and matters
*Deputyship applications
The role will involve working with a diverse client base, including individuals, families, business owners and high-net-worth clients across Newton Abbot and the wider Devon area.
What We’re Looking For
Applications are welcomed from experienced Private Client professionals who can confidently manage their own caseload.
You should have:
*At least 5 years’ experience within Private Client law
*Experience as a Solicitor, Chartered Legal Executive/CILEx professional or Fee Earner
*The ability to manage matters independently from instruction through to completion
*Strong technical knowledge across core Private Client work
*Excellent client care and communication skills
*A professional and proactive approach to managing client relationships
