We are seeking a qualified Conveyancing Solicitor or CILEx to join our clients esteemed Residential Conveyancing team. This role involves handling a variety of residential property transactions with a focus on delivering high-quality service. Our team is well-connected with local estate agents, making this an ideal position for someone who excels in networking and business development.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct fee-earning work including interviewing clients, taking instructions, and maintaining detailed file notes.
*Manage compliance documentation and analyse source of funds evidence for Anti-Money Laundering (AML).
*Issue client care letters, draft or review contract packages, and raise enquiries.
*Submit searches and draft title, mortgage, and search reports.
*Represent mortgage lenders, conduct exchanges of contracts, and complete transactions on schedule.
*Provide regular updates to clients regarding the progress of matters and costs.
*Participate in marketing activities to promote the firm and its services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified as a Solicitor or CILEx with experience in residential conveyancing.
*Strong ability to handle a range of property transactions including sales, purchases, transfers, and remortgages.
*Excellent networking and business development skills.
*Proficient in managing compliance and AML documentation.
*Capable of drafting various legal documents and conducting transactions.
*Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a larger team.
