An established and highly regarded legal practice is seeking to appoint a Litigation Solicitor to join its growing Litigation team at its Bromsgrove office.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Newly Qualified Solicitor or Solicitor with up to 2 years’ PQE who is looking to develop their career within a varied and client-focused litigation environment.
You will have the opportunity to work across a broad range of contentious matters, including civil litigation and employment law, while managing your own caseload and developing strong, long-term relationships with clients.
The Role
The successful Litigation Solicitor will be responsible for:
*Managing an independent caseload of contentious matters from instruction through to resolution
*Handling a varied range of civil litigation, employment and dispute resolution matters
*Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
*Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
*Working closely with colleagues across the wider legal team
*Managing competing priorities and working effectively to tight deadline
*Maintaining high standards of client care and professional service
*Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, regulatory requirements, internal policies and procedures
*Using internal systems effectively and maintaining accurate case records
*Contributing positively to the continued development and success of the Litigation team
About You
The firm is looking for a professional and client-focused Litigation Solicitor who can demonstrate:
*Qualification as a Solicitor, ideally at NQ to 2 years’ PQE
*Relevant experience within litigation, civil litigation, employment law and/or dispute resolution
*The ability to manage a caseload with appropriate levels of autonomy
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*A professional, friendly and reassuring approach when dealing with clients
*Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise competing deadlines
*A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
*A strong commitment to client service and achieving positive outcomes
*Confidence working within a regulated legal environment and adhering to compliance requirements, policies and internal procedures
