SEN Teacher - King’s Lynn, Norfolk - ASAP StartProspero Teaching are seeking a dedicated SEN Teacher to join a supportive specialist school in King’s Lynn, Norfolk, starting ASAP. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who is committed to supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs and helping them achieve their full potential within a nurturing and inclusive learning environment.
The school is looking for a resilient, adaptable practitioner with excellent behaviour management skills and a genuine desire to make a lasting impact on the educational journey of young people with additional needs.
CONTRACT DETAILS
*Location - King’s Lynn, Norfolk
*Position - SEN Teacher
*Type of work - Teaching students with Special Educational Needs
*Start date - ASAP
*Duration - Ongoing / Long-term
*Full time/part-time - Full-time
*Rate of pay - £165 - £215 per day (depending on experience)
*Hours - 08:30am - 15:30pm
EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS, QTLS or equivalent)
*Experience teaching pupils with SEN, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD or complex needs
*Experience working within an SEN School, Alternative Provision, PRU or mainstream setting supporting additional needs is desirable
*Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued within the last year (desirable)
TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:
*Hold Right to Work in the UK
*Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one
*Provide two professional child-related references
