Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a supportive school in Northampton, providing dedicated support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs.
This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in care, SEN or support work who is confident providing both personal care and physical support.
The Role*Providing 1:1 and/or small-group support to students with physical disabilities and complex needs
*Supporting students with personal care where required
*Assisting with manual handling, mobility and transfers
*Supporting students to access learning and participate fully in school life
*Working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to provide consistent support
Requirements*Previous experience supporting individuals with physical disabilities and/or complex needs
*Essential manual handling experience/training
*Experience supporting with personal care
*Patient, caring and adaptable approach
*Previous experience within a school, care or support setting is desirable
