Shift: Panama 2s & 3s – Days & Nights
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established and successful manufacturing business based in the Basingstoke area.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking to join a stable and growing business offering a competitive salary, excellent shift pattern and opportunities for further training and development.
The successful Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across a range of production machinery, responding to breakdowns and working closely with the wider engineering and production teams to maximise equipment reliability.
Responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer:*Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across production machinery and equipment.
*Respond to machinery breakdowns and complete reactive maintenance.
*Fault find and diagnose electrical and mechanical issues.
*Complete repairs efficiently to minimise production downtime.
*Support continuous improvement and machinery reliability initiatives.
*Work closely with production teams to ensure equipment remains operational.
*Complete engineering documentation and maintenance records.
*Maintain high standards of Health & Safety.
*Support engineering projects and equipment improvements where required.
Skills Required:*Previous experience as a Maintenance Engineer, Multi-Skilled Engineer, Electrical Engineer or Mechanical Engineer.
*Strong electrical and/or mechanical engineering background.
*Experience within a manufacturing, production or FMCG environment.
*Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
*Experience carrying out both planned and reactive maintenance.
*Comfortable working a Panama 2s & 3s Days & Nights shift pattern.
*Relevant engineering qualification would be advantageous.
