Role: SEN Teaching Assistant
Pay: £110 per day
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Full-time, long-term
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with additional needs?
We are currently working with a welcoming primary school in Wigan who are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time, long-term basis.
The role will involve supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, both 1:1 and within small groups, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence and independence.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Experience working with children with SEND
*Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or support worker
*A calm, patient and nurturing approach
*Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs or challenging behaviour
*The ability to build positive relationships with pupils
*Confidence supporting learning both 1:1 and in small groups
*A genuine passion for helping children reach their potential
