A leading specialist consultancy is looking to appoint a Senior Geotechnical Engineer to join its Cardiff team.
The role offers the opportunity to work across a varied portfolio of geotechnical projects, taking responsibility for technical delivery while supporting the development of junior engineers.
The role:
*Managing and delivering geotechnical projects from ground investigation through to design
*Undertaking geotechnical analysis and design for a range of projects
*Working on foundations, retaining structures, earthworks and slope stability
*Reviewing ground investigation information and producing interpretive reports
*Providing technical advice to clients and project teams
*Liaising with clients, contractors and other disciplines
*Preparing technical specifications, reports and fee proposals
*Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team
*Contributing to business development and client relationships
About you:
*Degree qualified in Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Geology or a related subject
*Previous experience within a geotechnical consultancy
*Strong understanding of ground investigation and geotechnical design
*Experience with foundation and earthworks design
*Comfortable managing projects and working directly with clients
*Chartered or working towards Chartership is desirable
