Are you an experienced Geotechnical Engineer looking for the next step in your career, with a clear pathway to Associate?
We are working with a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Central London who are looking to appoint a Principal Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team.
This is a great opportunity for someone who is technically strong, commercially aware and looking to take on greater responsibility across projects, clients and the wider team.
The role:
*Managing and delivering a range of geotechnical projects from investigation through to design
*Providing technical input and advice across a variety of building and infrastructure projects
*Undertaking and reviewing geotechnical analysis and design
*Preparing technical reports, specifications and fee proposals
*Liaising with clients, contractors and other consultants
*Managing project budgets, programmes and deliverables
*Supporting business development and developing existing client relationships
*Mentoring and supporting junior members of the team
*Taking a lead role within the geotechnical team, with a clear pathway to Associate
About you:
*Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, Geology or a related discipline
*Strong experience within a geotechnical consultancy environment
*Chartered or working towards Chartership
*Strong technical knowledge across ground investigation, foundations and geotechnical design
*Confident managing projects and communicating with clients
*Commercially minded with an interest in developing client relationships
*Experience mentoring or managing junior engineers would be beneficial
