Key Responsibilities:
*Undertaking Preliminary Risk Assessments (Phase 1 Desk Studies) and intrusive ground investigations
*Assisting with the planning and supervision of Phase 2 site investigations
*Carrying out soil and rock logging, groundwater and gas monitoring, and sampling activities
*Supervising drilling rigs, excavation works, and subcontractors on site
*Coordinating laboratory testing and interpreting geotechnical and environmental data
*Assisting with geotechnical assessments including settlement and earthworks evaluations
*Supporting remediation projects and validation works
*Preparing technical reports including factual, interpretative, and remediation reports
*Liaising with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary design teams
*Ensuring all site activities are carried out in accordance with health & safety and environmental regulations
What We’re Looking For:
*Degree qualified in Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline
*Experience within a geoenvironmental or geotechnical consultancy environment
*Good understanding of site investigations, contaminated land assessment, and remediation principles
*Strong communication and technical report-writing skills
*Ability to manage workload effectively and work to project deadlines
*A collaborative approach with strong attention to detail
*Experience carrying out site work and interpreting investigation data
*Full UK driving licence
*Right to work in the UK
