Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Management Accountant to lead a central finance function and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, robust financial controls, and insightful management information. Reporting to the Finance Director, you’ll support strategic decision-making while driving continuous improvement across finance systems, processes and reporting.


Key Responsibilities*Lead the month-end close process and ensure accurate management accounts are produced on time.
*Maintain the integrity of the balance sheet and oversee key financial ledgers including sales, purchase, cashbook, fixed assets and general ledger.
*Produce monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports with meaningful analysis and insight.
*Lead annual budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with stakeholders across the business.
*Partner with budget holders to review performance, identify risks and opportunities, and support informed decision-making.
*Drive improvements in financial systems, reporting, automation and data analysis and reporting
*Support statutory audits and ensure compliance with VAT, PAYE and financial regulations.
*Manage payment runs, expenses processes and working capital controls.
*Lead and develop the Management Accounting team, providing coaching and performance support.
*Contribute to strategic projects and organisational change initiatives


Profile
A successful Senior Management Accountant should have:
*A proactive and solutions-focused approach to financial management ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
*Strong management accounting and financial reporting experience.
*Proven leadership and team management capability.
*Excellent analytical, systems and business partnering skills.
*Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders.
Job Offer
*A salary up to £55,000
*Hybrid working model offering flexibility. 2 days a week in the office
*Pension 6% employer contributions
*27 days Annual Leave + BH’s
