We are working with a small, friendly semi-rural primary school in the Accrington area seeking a talented Year 5/6 Class Teacher to join their team from 1st November 2026 through to July 2027.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a welcoming school with a highly supportive Headteacher, excellent staff team, and well-behaved pupils who are eager to learn.
The Role
*Full-time Year 5/6 Class Teacher
*November 2026 start
*Long-term position until July 2027
*Planning, preparation and assessment responsibilities included
*Small semi-rural primary school setting
*Supportive leadership team and positive school culture
Pay
*£184.83 - £209.95 per day
*Paid weekly
*Rate dependent on experience
The Ideal Candidate
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Experience teaching within KS2
*Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
*Passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
*Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents
