Description
*Prepare year-end statutory accounts for limited companies, sole traders, partnerships, and LLPs, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
*Prepare and review corporation tax returns, self-assessment tax returns, and supporting schedules, identifying potential tax planning opportunities where appropriate.
*Manage a portfolio of clients, acting as a key point of contact and developing strong professional relationships while providing high-quality advice and support.
*Review bookkeeping, VAT returns, and management accounts prepared by junior team members, providing guidance, training, and constructive feedback.
*Liaise directly with clients to obtain information, resolve queries, and ensure work is completed efficiently and within agreed deadlines.
*Support partners and managers with workflow planning, client onboarding, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational efficiency.
Profile
A successful Senior Accountant should have:


*Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial regulations.
*ACCA/ACA qualified (or nearly qualified).
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Experience in preparing financial statements and managing month-end processes.
*An analytical mindset with attention to detail.
*The ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*Excellent communication skills to liaise with stakeholders.
