We are supporting an established school looking to recruit an experienced Head of Accounts. This is a key role within the finance team, offering responsibility across the school’s day-to-day accounting and financial management.
Key responsibilities:
*Management accounts and financial reporting
*Budgeting and forecasting
*Financial controls and reconciliations
*Year-end accounts and audit support
*Cash flow monitoring
*Supporting and developing the finance team
*Working closely with senior stakeholders
We are looking for:
*Strong accounting and finance experience
*School and/or charity finance experience highly desirable
*Knowledge of charity accounting advantageous
*Strong Excel and systems skills
*Excellent attention to detail
*Confident communication and stakeholder management
*Strong organisational skills
