A well-established regional law firm is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor to join its growing Family Law team in Rotherham.
This is a good opportunity for a Family Solicitor with private client experience to join an established team and manage a varied caseload, with a particular focus on financial matters and children work.
The role
You will manage your own caseload of private Family matters, advising clients from initial instruction through to resolution.
Your work will include:
*Divorce and separation
*Financial settlements, including high net worth matters
*Cohabitation agreements
*Child arrangements and applications under the Children Act
*Pre and post nuptial agreements
*Advising clients throughout their matters and providing clear, practical advice
*Negotiating with other parties and working towards settlement
*Preparing correspondence and legal documentation
You will have a good level of responsibility for your own caseload, with support available from the wider team where required.
About you
The firm is looking for someone who:
*Is a qualified Solicitor with experience in private Family Law
*Has experience managing their own caseload
*Is confident dealing directly with clients and other professionals
*Has strong communication and negotiation skills
*Is organised and able to manage their own workload
*Takes a practical and empathetic approach to client care
