Description
*Provide expert advice on operational tax matters to clients.
*Assist in managing and delivering tax compliance processes.
*Ensure accurate and timely preparation of tax returns and related documentation.
*Support clients in understanding and implementing changes in tax legislation.
*Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored tax solutions.
*Assist with tax audits and resolve any related queries.
*Identify opportunities for process improvements in tax operations.
*Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry developments.
Profile
A successful Operational Tax (FS) Assistant Manager should have:
*Experience gained within Product or Operational tax from within the financial services
*Be nearly or part qualified in tax or audit (eg. ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, ATT.)
*Practical experience of dealing with operational taxes within a Financial Services context -
*candidates with industry or professional services experience.
*An understanding of financial markets, participants, investors (e.g., banks, brokers, institutional investors, custodians, asset managers, private equity etc) and products.
*Knowledge of at least one of: Withholding Tax, Transaction Tax, Information Reporting
*Experience working on the delivery of end to end projects within a team.

*Salary between £45,000 and £50,000 dependent on the level of experience.
