Salary: £35,000 - £45,000
Location: Surrey
Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in the office
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join a busy public sector organisation in a broad generalist People Officer role. You will provide professional HR advice and support to managers across a range of employee relations, recruitment, attendance management and organisational change activities.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability and absence management.
*Provide practical HR advice and guidance to managers.
*Support recruitment and onboarding activities.
*Assist with organisational change and restructuring projects.
*Promote employee wellbeing and attendance management.
*Support the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.
Requirements
*Previous experience in an HR Officer, HR Advisor or similar HR generalist role.
*Strong employee relations case management experience.
*Experience working within local government, education, charity or a similar public sector environment.
*Good knowledge of employment law and HR best practice.
*CIPD Level 5 qualified, studying towards CIPD Level 5, or equivalent HR experience.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Ability to manage a varied workload and work independently.
