Location: Caerphilly
Start Date: As soon as possible
Hours: 12pm - 1pm, 5 days a week
Pay Rate: Starting at £14.50 an hour (pay dependant on level of experience and length of placement)
We are currently recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor on behalf of a welcoming and supportive primary school in the Caerphilly area. This is a fantastic opportunity to become a valued part of a school team, helping to ensure children have a safe, happy, and well-supervised lunchtime experience.
What we are looking for
*A caring, patient, and enthusiastic individual

*Experience working with children is desirable but not essential

*Strong communication and interpersonal skills

*Reliability and a commitment to safeguarding

*A valid Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Midday Supervisory Assistant Duties include:

*To supervise children during the lunch break
*To help children eating their school dinner or packed lunch
*To supervise children in the playground
*To supervise children in their classes during inclement weather
*To play games and undertake activities with the children
*To deal with minor accidents and injuries and administer some First Aid
*To manage children’s behaviour positively
*To maintain confidentiality
*To safeguard all pupils
