Key Responsibilities
*Act as a key person to a group of children, tracking their progress and developmental milestones.
*Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
*Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment where children thrive through play.
*Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and the nursery team.
*Maintain safeguarding standards and support the day-to-day operations of the room.
Candidate Requirements
*Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (NVQ, CACHE, or equivalent).
*Experience: Previous experience working within an early years setting, including proven experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN / SEND).
*Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of the EYFS framework, SEN code of practice, and safeguarding procedures.
*Attributes: Patient, empathetic, reliable, and passionate about promoting inclusive early childhood development.
