We are seeking an exceptional Senior Java Developer to join our FM Digital Channels team at a leading international investment bank. In this contract role, you will drive platform development forward and deliver high-quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements. You will work as part of a dynamic global team responsible for cross-product transactional pricing of derivatives, collaborating with technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders across multiple locations.

Location & Work Mode
This role is based in London, UK with a flexible hybrid arrangement: 2 days per week onsite and 3 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities
*Drive platform development forwards and deliver quality solutions to business-critical customer requirements
*Collaborate in a dynamic global team with fellow technologists, business analysts, project managers and business stakeholders
*Write efficient, clear code and articulate what has been implemented and why
*Take ownership and responsibility for the full development lifecycle
*Drive and facilitate requirements and development efforts
Required Qualifications
*5+ years of hands-on development experience with investment banking IT systems
*Expert-level knowledge of Core Java (essential), including Concurrency and Spring Framework
*Experience with FX Options trading technology
*Derivatives domain knowledge
*Proven experience in end-to-end design, development and support of financial markets systems
*Experience working in agile development environments
*Excellent software design principles and ability to write robust code with accompanying test suites
*Full-stack web development capability
*Strong English language skills (speaking and writing)

Compensation & Benefits
*Rate: £750 PAYE (Inside IR35) equivalent to £195,000 annually
*38 days annual leave
