Full job descriptionRobert Half Finance and Accounting are partnering with a leading education provider in London who are looking to recruit a Finance Officer on an initial 6-month contract, with the opportunity to go permanent.
Role:
Our client is looking to recruit an experienced Finance Officer to join their finance team, with a focus on accounts payable and accounts receivable.
In this role you will be responsible for the following duties:
*Monitor the accounts inbox and triage incoming queries
*Process supplier invoices through the Xledger workflow
*Check workflow approvals and finalise postings onto the ledgers
*Deal with budget holders and business owners to resolve queries and discrepancies
*Process and reconcile staff expenses
*Set up supplier payments in the bank
*Support the wider finance team with APAR duties, including raising invoices, cash allocation and credit control
Profile:
The successful Finance Officer will have solid, hands-on experience across both AP and AR, ideally gained in a busy finance function. You will be confident dealing with stakeholders across the business, organised, and accurate with a good eye for detail. Experience with Xledger or a similar workflow-based purchase ledger system is highly desirable.

Our client is a well-regarded organisation based in London who are looking to recruit a Finance Officer for an initial 6 months, with a genuine opportunity to be made permanent. This role will be office based 2 days per week with 3 days working from home.
Salary & Benefits:
This Finance Officer role will be paying £17-19 per hour dependent on experience.
