Description
Key Responsibilities
*Support the month-end and year-end close processes
*Prepare and process journals accurately and within deadlines
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
*Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations
*Maintain accurate financial data and ensure strong data integrity
*Follow established processes, controls and finance procedures
*Assist with financial reporting requirements
*Respond to queries from internal stakeholders
*Identify inefficiencies and contribute to process improvements and automation
*Work collaboratively with finance teams and stakeholders across the wider business
*Support ongoing system and process developments
Profile
About YouWe’re looking for someone who:
*Has previous experience within R2R, general ledger or a similar accounting role
*Has a good understanding of month-end processes, journals and balance sheet reconciliations
*Is confident working with ERP/accounting systems
*Has strong Excel skills
*Is organised, accurate and comfortable working to deadlines
*Has a proactive approach and enjoys identifying ways to improve processes
*Has strong communication skills and enjoys working as part of a team
*Is studying towards an accounting qualification or has relevant finance experience
