This well-established organisation is continuing to invest heavily in its network infrastructure and its employees, offering structured development pathways, dedicated training facilities and support towards further education. Due to increasing demand across East Anglia, they are looking for experienced Linespeople to join their growing teams.
In this role, you will carry out construction, maintenance and repairs across LV/HV overhead networks, working alongside experienced engineers on fault repairs, new installations and network improvement projects.
The Role:
*Construction, maintenance and repair of LV/HV overhead power lines
*Fault finding, repairs and restoration of electrical supplies
*Live-line working where appropriately trained and authorised
*Working in teams of 2-3 across a localised patch
*Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week, with overtime available
*Company van and fuel card, no regular stayaways
*Extensive training, additional authorisations and HNC/HND development opportunities
The Person:
*Experience as a Linesperson / Overhead Linesperson / Linesman
*Background in electricity distribution, ideally with a DNO
*LV/HV overhead line experience and relevant authorisations
*Live-line experience advantageous
*Full UK driving licence
*Right to work in the UK without sponsorship
