Full job descriptionOur client near Guildford is a well established, independent accountancy firm. They are keen to recruit an Accounts Senior to manage a portfolio of accounts and tax clients.

Our client is a well established accountancy practice based close to Guildford. They are a close knit team and are looking to add an experienced and qualified Accounts Senior to their ranks.
Description
*Prepare financial statements and statutory accounts for clients.
*Manage a portfolio of clients, ensuring deadlines are met and queries are resolved.
*Support tax team with basic tax compliance.
*Support clients with bookkeeping and VAT returns as needed.
*Monitor and review the work of junior team members, offering guidance and support.
*Maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as their main point of contact for financial queries.
*Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting standards and regulations.
Profile
A successful Accounts Senior should have:
*A professional qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA).
*2-5 years post qualified experience.
*From a small-medium sized accountancy practice background.
*Strong knowledge of accounting software and financial reporting standards.
*Experience in preparing accounts and managing client relationships.
*Good analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
*The ability to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines effectively.

*Salary ranging from £50,000 to £60,000, dependent on the level of experience.
