Description
*Manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments and resolve outstanding balances.
*Monitor and assess credit risks, ensuring compliance with company policies.
*Communicate with clients to follow up on overdue invoices and payment plans.
*Reconcile accounts and investigate discrepancies.
*Prepare and maintain accurate credit control reports.
*Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing or account queries.
*Assist with setting up new customer accounts, including credit checks.
*Support month-end and year-end financial processes as required.
Profile
A successful Credit Controller should have:
*Experience in credit control or a similar accounting role within the industrial/manufacturing sector.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
*Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients and internal teams.
*A proactive and organised approach to managing workloads.
*Knowledge of credit risk assessment and collections processes.
