Are you a Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Engineer or Electrical Sales Engineer looking for a rare opportunity to take ownership of a growing service line and shape it into a team of your own?

This is a brand-new position within an established specialist contractor, bringing work in-house that has historically been outsourced, giving you real autonomy to drive relationships, win work and build long-term growth.

The business operates nationally, working with everyone from smaller contractors through to tier-one projects, and is known for delivering specialist electrical services including lightning protection, earthing, surge protection and associated minor works across commercial and industrial sites.

In this role you will be a key figure in developing the fixed wire testing offering, meeting clients, quoting works and identifying opportunities to expand their footprint, with the scope to grow the function as demand increases.

This role would suit a sales-focused electrical professional looking for genuine ownership, the opportunity to build something, and the long-term progression that comes with growing a division.

The Role:
*Developing business for fixed wire testing and associated electrical works
*Building client relationships, meeting customers and driving new opportunities
*Quoting for works and supporting design/technical input where required
*Hybrid working (3 days office) with nationwide travel to clients/sites

The Person:


*Electrical background (e.g. electrician or electrically biased technical/sales)
*Proven sales/business development experience within electrical/commercial works
*Comfortable quoting, client-facing meetings and travelling nationwide
