Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm

We are currently recruiting for an experienced School Caretaker to join a busy secondary school in Bexleyheath.
The successful candidate will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the school site, ensuring the buildings and grounds are safe, secure, clean and well maintained.
Key Responsibilities*Opening and securing the school site
*Carrying out daily site and security checks
*Undertaking general maintenance and minor repairs
*Ensuring the school site is safe, clean and well presented
*Setting up rooms and areas for school activities and events
*Liaising with contractors and reporting maintenance issues
*Supporting with general premises and facilities duties
The Ideal Candidate*Previous experience in caretaking, premises or facilities
*Good general maintenance and practical skills
*A reliable, proactive and hands-on approach
*Good knowledge of health and safety
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team
*Previous experience working within a school environment would be advantageous
*A valid DBS or willingness to undergo a DBS check
Please note: Candidates must have a DBS in place or be willing to complete the DBS process before starting.
