Academics are looking for qualified Teaching Assistants to join our supply team and work across primary schools in Upton and the surrounding Wirral area.
We know a good TA can be the person who helps a child finally understand something, settle into their day or feel confident enough to have a go.
That’s the kind of person our schools are looking for.
THIS COULD SUIT YOU IF YOU’RE:
Experienced - you’ve spent time in the classroom and know how to support a busy school day.
Adaptable - you can walk into a new school, get your bearings and get stuck in.
Supportive - you’re brilliant at building relationships with pupils and helping them feel confident.
Proactive - you don’t wait to be told what needs doing; you spot where you can help.
THE OPPORTUNITIES
Our Upton-area schools may need support across different year groups and settings, from helping with everyday classroom learning to providing targeted support for pupils who need a little more.
There are opportunities for day-to-day supply and longer placements, depending on what you’re looking for.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
*A Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above
*Previous experience working with children in a school setting
*A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning
*The flexibility to work across different primary environments
*A strong understanding of safeguarding
