The Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join an established planning consultancy in Shrewsbury.
You will work alongside experienced planning professionals, providing planning advice to a diverse client base and assisting with the preparation, submission and progression of planning applications.
This is an excellent opportunity for a planner looking to develop their career within a supportive team while gaining exposure to a broad range of projects.
Requirements
*Previous experience working within Town Planning, either in the public or private sector
*A relevant degree in Town Planning or a related discipline
*Ideally RTPI accredited / working towards RTPI membership
*Good understanding of the UK planning system and relevant planning policy
*Experience preparing or supporting planning applications
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Ability to manage workloads and work to deadlines
*Commercial awareness and a client-focused approach
*Full UK driving licence would be advantageous
