Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for a new opportunity in Slough?
We are currently working with a welcoming school in Slough who are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their full potential.
The Role:
*Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN

*Support students with their learning, development and emotional wellbeing

*Assist teachers with classroom activities and lesson preparation

*Help manage behaviour and promote positive engagement

*Support pupils with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD and SEMH

*Encourage independence and confidence in pupils

*Work closely with teachers, SENCOs and other support staff

The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

*Strong understanding of SEN and additional learning needs

*Patient, caring and supportive approach

*Confident in managing challenging behaviour

*Excellent communication and teamwork skills

*Able to build positive relationships with pupils

*A relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification is desirable but not essential
