As a Catering Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring all food handling meets safety regulations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys interacting with people.
Ideal Candidate:
*Possess a Level 2 Food and Hygiene Qualification.
*Have previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment (preferred).
*Are proactive, with a strong understanding of food safety practices.
*Can start immediately, ensuring a smooth and efficient service within our school cafeteria.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.
*Maintain cleanliness and order in the kitchen and dining areas.
*Comply with all food safety regulations.
*Setup and breakdown of the cafeteria.
*Provide excellent customer service.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Level 2 Food and Hygiene Qualification.
*Experience in a catering or kitchen environment (preferred).
*Strong understanding of food safety.
*Good communication and interpersonal skills.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service.
