Ramsgate, Kent (Commutable from: Margate, Herne Bay, Canterbury, Dover)
Are you a Hydraulic Fitter/Technician/Engineer looking for a stable, long-term position with a well-established aerospace engineering business where you can take pride in quality workmanship and work to clear procedures and standards?
On offer is a secure, permanent role based at a specialist overhaul and repair facility, where you will work as part of a close-knit operations team assembling and stripping down a wide range of hydraulic and mechanical components, ready for final inspection and testing.
This company are an established name in the aerospace sector, with a strong reputation built over 60 years, supporting international and regional customers across a broad range of aircraft systems. They operate from multiple UK sites and are known for their focus on safety, quality and compliance.
In this role you will disassemble hydraulic/mechanical components down to sub-components, then rebuild assemblies from technical data and detailed procedures, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards in line with relevant aviation and internal requirements.
This role would suit an individual with a background in hydraulic engineering, looking for a secure, on-site position with consistent hours, a clear remit and long-term stability with a respected employer.
The Role:
*Disassemble & assembly of hydraulic and mechanical units from technical data, ready for final inspection and testing
*Maintaining safe working practices and following standard operating procedures
*Ensuring quality and compliance standards are met
*Monday to Thursday, 8:00am - 4:30, 3:30 finish on Friday
The Person:
*Experienced in hydraulic engineering
*A high level of numeracy and literacy is required, as well as an ability to interpret and follow in detail compliance manuals.
*Well organised and self-motivated.
