*Job Type: Temporary, Ongoing (Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 17:00)
We are seeking an experienced Order Picker for a temporary ongoing position in Basildon. The ideal candidate will have a current Fork Lift Licence and experience in picking and packing orders, ensuring they are ready for dispatch. This role is suited for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and maintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Picking and packing orders accurately and efficiently, ready for dispatch.
*Operating a forklift to move and manage inventory.
*Wrapping and strapping pallets securely to ensure safe transportation.
*Maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
*Continuously checking inventory to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies.
*Standing and moving for extended periods, as the job requires being on feet all day.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Must possess a current Fork Lift Licence.
*Proven experience as an Order Picker or in a similar role.
*Experience in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
*Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
*Ability to physically stand for long periods and handle heavy objects.
