Full job descriptionAs a Payroll and People Administrator you will ensure the smooth running of payroll processes, from handling payroll queries to maintaining accurate records working with contacts across HR and Finance.
Client Details
In this role, you’ll support the delivery of an accurate, compliant and efficient payroll service for a large workforce. Working closely with colleagues across HR, Finance and operational teams, you’ll play a key part in ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time while maintaining high standards of payroll administration and customer service.

Description
*Provide first-line support and guidance to employees and managers on payroll-related queries including pay, tax, National Insurance, policies and employment terms.
*Process and validate monthly payroll data, including time sheets, expenses and employee changes.
*Support the administration of starters, leavers, transfers, contractual changes and salary amendments.
*Assist with statutory and occupational payments including sickness, maternity, paternity and adoption pay.
*Support payroll compliance activities, including HMRC documentation and year-end payroll processes.
*Assist with pension administration and employee benefit schemes.
*Produce payroll reports and support data analysis as required.
*Maintain accurate employee and payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
*Contribute to payroll, HR and systems improvement projects.
*Provide administrative support and maintain effective filing and record-keeping systems.
*Build strong working relationships with colleagues across HR, Finance and other business functions.
Profile
A successful Payroll and People Administrator should have:
*Experience in processing payroll within a professional setting.
*Knowledge of payroll and HR integrated systems
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
*Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
*Good communication and problem-solving abilities.

*Hybrid working arrangements to suit you
*Rolling temporary contract with 37.5 working hours per week.
