Job Description:
Full job descriptionWe are supporting a leading defence organisation with the
appointment of a Contractor Compliance & CDM Advisor to join its
growing Facilities Management team.
?The role will support a diverse portfolio of construction and
facilities projects across the UK estate, providing practical
health and safety guidance while ensuring compliance with CDM
2015 Regulations.
Typical responsibilities include:
* Supporting the implementation of CDM 2015 Regulations across a
portfolio of UK projects
* Assisting with the delivery of the Principal Designer role for
small works
* Providing competent health and safety and contractor compliance
advice to the Facilities Management team and wider business
* Carrying out site inspections, accident and incident
investigations, audits and contractor compliance activities
* Working with Project Managers and Maintenance Service Providers
to improve processes, procedures and working practices
The ideal candidate will have:
* NEBOSH Diploma or NVQ Diploma, with Level 6 preferred
* IOSH membership with an active CPD record
* Strong knowledge and understanding of CDM 2015 Regulations
* Understanding of the Principal Designer role, with IMaPS or
CMaPS experience beneficial
* A proactive approach with the ability to manage a varied
portfolio of projects and work effectively with internal and
external stakeholders
