Location: Wembley (Hybrid Working) Contract: Temporary, 3 Months Hours: Part-Time (Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday) Pay: £18.17 - £20.16 per hour PAYE
We are seeking an experienced Domestic Abuse Coordinator to support a local authority’s domestic abuse partnership and governance arrangements on an interim basis.
This role will play a key part in ensuring effective partnership working, performance monitoring and coordination of domestic abuse services, helping the council meet its statutory responsibilities under the Domestic Abuse Act 2021. Based on the requirements outlined in September 2026 Domestic Abuse Coordinator and Interim Domestic Abuse Coordinator.
Key Duties
*Coordinate Domestic Abuse Executive Group meetings, forums and partnership activity.
*Support implementation and monitoring of domestic abuse strategies and action plans.
*Coordinate Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs) and track recommendations.
*Collect, analyse and report on domestic abuse performance data.
*Build and maintain effective working relationships with partner agencies.
*Support commissioning, monitoring and review of domestic abuse services.
*Deliver and coordinate domestic abuse awareness training and workforce development initiatives.
*Produce reports, presentations and briefings for senior leaders and partnership boards.
*Coordinate awareness campaigns and engagement activities.
*Act as a key point of contact for domestic abuse-related matters.
Essential Requirements
*Experience within domestic abuse, safeguarding, community safety, housing, criminal justice or a related field.
*Strong understanding of the Domestic Abuse Act 2021.
*Experience working in a multi-agency partnership environment.
*Experience supporting governance arrangements, meetings and action plans.
*Strong analytical skills with experience producing reports and performance data.
*Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
*Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
*Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain).
Desirable
*Knowledge of MARAC processes.
*Experience supporting Domestic Abuse Related Death Reviews (DARDRs).
*Local authority experience.
*Experience coordinating training and awareness programmes.
*Experience supporting commissioned services and grant-funded projects.
